PlayWeld

PlayWeld brings your game project files, design notes, tools, and AI workflows into one local workspace, built on Eclipse Theia.

Use it to:

• Organize project files and development notes
• Search project knowledge and reference material
• Connect game-development tools, including Godot, Unity, Unreal, and game-art services
• Work with AI agents while reviewing changes and approving tool actions

PlayWeld is in active development. Integration setup and capabilities vary, and some workflows still need real-world testing. Start with a disposable project and keep backups.

The IDE is free and open source under Apache-2.0. Connected model providers and asset-generation services may charge separately. Game engines require their own installation and licenses.

Feedback and bug reports are welcome. Please include your operating system, PlayWeld version, steps to reproduce, and relevant errors, with secrets removed.
